Gilisoft Movie DVD Creator can help you create your own DVD discs. You will not need to worry about compatibility issues and formats because the application takes care of that for you.

The program has an intuitive interface similar to that of a batch media converter. Therefore, you are unlikely to find any difficulty to use it if you have used such type of software before. It is a good practice to always choose the disc type before starting to add contents to it. This way, you can learn how much space is still available on the disc. A huge array of video formats is supported as input, including HD formats. The files you add can be previewed to verify their contents and while doing this, you can also take snapshots of selected scenes.

Fortunately, the application allows you to perform various editing actions on the videos before burning them to disc. This way, you can add external subtitles and edit them by specifying font, color and position. Unfortunately, I could not find a way to create multi-language DVDs because only one subtitle can be imported at a time. Other actions include trimming the video, cropping the frame, rotating the image, adding watermarks and adjusting picture parameters. In a similar manner, the software lets you create and edit DVD menus from the available templates. Unfortunately, such properties of the elements on the menus, as position and size are not customizable.

The tool lets you select a video quality, TV standard and aspect ratio and supports various types of output. Although the default operation is to burn contents to an actual disc, you can also decide to save them as an ISO image file or to a DVD folder.

All in all, Gilisoft Movie DVD Creator is an excellent application. I can assure you that your discs will play with no difficulty on the intended devices. Perhaps its main limitation is that it cannot create discs with multiple audio tracks and subtitles. However, if you think you do not need this feature, Gilisoft Movie DVD Creator may be the application you are looking for.
